PMB Burch is a daughter, sister, wife, proud mother and nana. I'm a fun loving, and caring person with a warm heart who enjoys dancing, singing, traveling, reading and playing both board and video games. I treasure spending time with family and friends. An introvert at heart and an out-of-the-box thinker, and love challenging myself to come up with creative ideas and thoughtful solutions. 

How it all started?

For years I dreamed of writing children's books. After retiring in 2021, I finally gave myself the space to pursue that dream. Before long, two book ideas began taking shape, each on growing a little more every day. Now I can proudly celebrate the joy of fulfilling a lifelong dream of becoming an author.

What are my desires as an author?

My desires as an author are for my readers to truly enjoy the stories I create. I hope to spark their imagination, touch their hearts, and give them characters they want to follow. I also dream of building a full book series, a world children can return to again and again as they grow.

Why I write children's books?

When my daughters were young, story time was our special ritual. I would read to them, slipping into different voices for each character, and their eyes would light up with excitement. Watching them fall in love with those stories and sharing that quiet, joyful time together made my heart smile.

I write children's books because I want other children to feel that same sense of wonder. I want them to journey through adventures, connect with characters, and experience emotions that help them grow. Through my stories, I hope they learn values, compassion, and social skills, and most of all, I want them to know it's okay to dream and to believe they can make those dreams come true.
